Context & Objectives
As part of a strategic SAS migration program, we are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end coordination of multiple projects.
The organization is transitioning away from SAS-based applications (end of support by 2028), requiring a structured transformation toward new internal or external solutions. This role is critical in ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery across all related initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end coordination of SAS migration projects
- Analyze requirements and define a structured migration roadmap
- Translate the roadmap into a detailed project plan, breaking it down into sub-projects with clearly defined scope and deliverables
- Take full ownership of project delivery from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, scope, and compliance requirements
Project Execution & Team Coordination
- Organize and assign tasks across project team members based on skills and experience
- Ensure effective planning of activities considering capacity, resources, and budget constraints
- Support, coach, and follow up with team members to maximize performance and delivery quality
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Gather, structure, and communicate project information clearly to stakeholders
- Act as the main liaison between ICT and business teams (BUS)
- Coordinate and monitor ICT deliverables throughout the project lifecycle
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ICT regarding the project
Monitoring & Governance
- Track project performance across scope, budget, timeline, and resources
- Identify deviations and escalate issues to sponsors when necessary
- Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and project standards
Knowledge Management & Leadership
- Provide guidance and act as a reference point for project-related topics
- Support colleagues with expertise and best practices
- Consolidate and maintain project knowledge and documentation
- Ensure continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across stakeholders
Profile & Experience
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, ideally in large transformation programs
- Strong experience in application and/or data migration projects (SAS experience is a plus)
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-project environments
- Experience working across business and IT interfaces
