About the Role
Join our corporate Digital & Data department and play a key role in leveraging data as a major asset for strategic ambitions, innovation, and transformation. As a Data Engineer, you will primarily be part of one of our agile Product Teams, helping to shape our Data organization and delivering impactful product features.
You’ll work on creating data pipelines, efficient storage structures, materialized views, and data exchange endpoints, while also interacting with governance tools such as Glossary, Data Modeling, Lineage, and Data Quality. Your work will directly contribute to better products and higher quality data for our customers.
What You Will Do
- Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines and storage structures across multiple analytical technologies.
- Contribute to data integration, enrichment, and analytics initiatives using SQL, Python, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and other relevant tools.
- Collaborate closely with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver integrated, reusable solutions.
- Support testing, documentation, and DevOps practices to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Bring a product-oriented mindset while focusing on iterative improvements and customer-oriented solutions.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, open-mindedness, and innovation across the organization.
What You Will Not Do
- Operate in an isolated “technical tower.”
- Make business decisions for stakeholders; you will advise and guide using clear reasoning.
- Deliver isolated technical solutions; your focus is on product features that drive value.
Requirements

Experience: 3–5+ years hands-on in at least 2 of the following:
- SQL server usage
- Azure services (Databricks, Data Factory, Functions, Stream/Log Analytics, DevOps)
- Python-based data pipelines/enrichments in Databricks
- Open to learn new technologies (e.g., Redis, RabbitMQ, Neo4j, Apache Arrow)
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with SAP data integration is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a rational and no-nonsense approach
- Fluent in English; additional fluency in German, French, or Dutch is a plus
- Ability to work transversally across the enterprise, ensuring coherence, reuse, and adoption
- Customer-oriented, iterative thinker with a track record of driving results through continuous improvement
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills, sharing ideas openly and contributing to product success
