We are seeking an experienced Software Architect with strong expertise in cloud-native application design and enterprise integration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining and implementing distributed architectures while guiding multiple teams in adopting modern software engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement modular, service-oriented architectures based on cloud-native principles.
- Lead the adoption of containerization and orchestration technologies to enhance deployment efficiency and system scalability.
- Develop and maintain integration frameworks that support real-time data exchange and event-driven architectures.
- Define, promote, and govern development standards, architectural guidelines, and best practices across teams.
- Collaborate with business units to align technical solutions with organizational goals.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Drive automation initiatives to optimize software delivery pipelines and reduce operational overhead.
- Monitor system performance and implement observability tooling to ensure reliability and traceability.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience designing and deploying microservices architectures.
- Excellent understanding of enterprise integration patterns and cloud environments.
- Good knowledge of DevOps practices and automation tools.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
- Ability to coach and support teams in adopting new technologies.
- Proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem, container platforms, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with integration technologies: messaging systems, event streaming, API gateways.
- Experience with monitoring, centralized logging, and distributed tracing.
- Strong experience working in Linux environments.
- Very good knowledge of Dutch.
- Senior-level experience as a Java Developer (5–9 years).
- Good knowledge of French and English.
