AISB-770 Enterprise Architect – Process Owner

We are currently looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect – Process Owner to strengthen our Architecture Center of Excellence (CoE). This role is key in enhancing architecture governance and improving enterprise architecture processes to ensure they remain efficient, scalable, and aligned with organizational strategy.

Your Role

As an Enterprise Architect – Process Owner, you will focus on improving and governing enterprise architecture processes, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and simplifying architecture and IT strategy workflows.

You will collaborate closely with architecture teams and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, maintain governance standards, and support architects in their daily activities through effective processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Process Improvement

  • Propose and implement process improvements to align the department with group architecture and governance guidelines.
  • Simplify architecture and IT strategy processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with the Architecture CoE.
  • Lead or contribute to architecture workgroups delivering targeted enterprise architecture and process improvements.
  • Manage and prioritize the backlog of process improvement initiatives in alignment with leadership expectations.
  • Drive the rollout of process changes through communication, training, change management, and follow-up.

Governance & Operations

  • Support the daily operations of architecture governance processes.
  • Organize architecture validation committees and governance meetings, including agenda preparation, invitations, and documentation.
  • Ensure traceability of architecture decisions and follow-up of action items.

Process Engineering & Governance

  • Design processes and supporting tools that simplify the work of enterprise architects.
  • Analyze process improvement needs and translate them into clear and documented solutions.
  • Ensure architecture processes meet audit, compliance, and permanent control requirements.
  • Act as a bridge between enterprise architecture teams and organizational governance processes.
  • Promote and validate architecture solutions with relevant stakeholders and governance bodies.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for architecture processes, providing guidance and communicating updates.

Candidate Profile

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Certifications

  • Enterprise Architecture certifications are strongly valued.
  • Project Management certifications are a plus.

Languages

  • French – Good level
  • Dutch – Good level
  • English – Good level

Required Experience

Mandatory

  • 5+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, preferably in financial services environments.
  • 5+ years of experience in process management and continuous improvement.

Preferred

  • Experience in project management.
