As a Scrum Master, you will play a key role in supporting Agile squads throughout the delivery lifecycle. You will act as a servant leader, facilitator, coach, and change agent, ensuring that Agile principles and practices are properly understood and effectively applied. Working closely with Product Owners, developers, testers, business stakeholders, and other Agile teams, you will help create an environment where teams can focus, collaborate efficiently, and continuously improve their performance.
Your Responsibilities
- Organize, facilitate, and continuously improve Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support Agile teams in achieving Sprint goals and delivering high-quality increments.
- Help maintain and manage Sprint Backlogs, Definition of Done (DoD), and Agile planning activities.
- Monitor squad capacity, velocity, and other relevant delivery metrics.
- Identify and remove impediments impacting team performance and delivery.
- Ensure smooth execution of Agile processes and practices.
- Act as a servant leader and Agile coach for the squad.
- Promote Agile values, principles, and best practices across the organization.
- Guide teams in selecting and optimizing the most effective Agile framework (Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid approaches).
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate discussions that help the team improve productivity, quality, and delivery predictability.
- Support the definition and evolution of the squad's objectives and strategy.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Facilitate effective communication between business and technical teams.
- Protect the squad from unnecessary interruptions and distractions.
- Help stakeholders understand how to interact effectively with Agile teams.
- Collaborate with third-party providers and partners when required.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master within Agile delivery environments.
- Proven experience supporting software development teams.
- Demonstrated experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching Agile teams.
- Strong delivery-oriented mindset with a focus on value creation.
- Good knowledge of Agile reporting and collaboration tools (such as Rally or similar platforms).
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies including Scrum and Kanban.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with automated testing and Continuous Integration environments is considered an asset.
- Experience in delivery-focused environments.
- Knowledge of the Payments domain is considered a strong advantage.

- Dutch is required.
- English is required.
- French is considered a strong asset.
