At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for a Functional Analyst to contribute to large-scale digital initiatives. In this role, you will act as a key interface between business and IT, shaping solutions that are both technically sound and aligned with enterprise strategy.
Your Role
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Product Owners, and stakeholders to define and refine solution approaches
- Propose alternative solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, strategy, and cost-benefit considerations
- Ensure compliance with architectural standards, security guidelines, and best practices
- Work closely with architects to define the overall solution architecture
- Act as a key liaison between business, IT teams, and stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications
- Define functional scope and responsibilities across different systems/components
- Design application solutions and assess impacts across the IT landscape
- Align with technical teams to ensure feasibility and clarity of requirements
- Ensure consistency between functional specifications and developed solutions
- Support development teams with clarifications and technical-functional input
- Contribute to integration and assembly testing (I&AT)
- Analyze and resolve defects during testing phases
- Assist in release and deployment activities
- Provide post-deployment support to operational teams and helpdesks
- Analyze production incidents and coordinate resolution
- Maintain and update documentation continuously
- Actively contribute within Agile teams, participating in sprints and iterative delivery cycles
- Embrace cross-functional collaboration and support other team activities when needed
- Promote continuous improvement through feedback and knowledge sharing
Your Profile
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Functional Analyst or in a similar role
- Strong understanding of IT systems and application environments
- Proven experience in functional analysis and solution design
- Knowledge of analysis methodologies aligned with enterprise standards
- Experience in Agile environments (Scrum) is a strong asset
- Exposure to mobile technologies (iOS/Android) is a plus
- Good understanding of banking or financial services domains
- Fluent in English
- Good knowledge of French and/or Dutch
