At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for a Senior Project Manager to lead medium-scale, high-impact projects in an international and structured environment. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a solid grasp of modern project management tools and methodologies. As a Senior Project Manager, you will take full ownership of project delivery, from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the definition, planning, and successful delivery of IT projects
- Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, PRINCE2, PMP frameworks)
- Manage risks, issues, and change control processes effectively
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope and budget
- Monitor performance (cost, time, quality, resources) and take corrective actions when needed
- Provide clear and accurate reporting to stakeholders
- Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders
- Build and maintain strong relationships through structured communication strategies
- Facilitate decision-making and ensure alignment across all parties
- Translate business and technical requirements into actionable plans
- Manage and assess change requests, ensuring alignment with project objectives
- Evaluate impacts and advise stakeholders on risks and implications
- Monitor contractual obligations and performance through KPIs
- Identify improvement opportunities and address under-performance
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in IT project management within large organizations
- Proven experience managing budgets, resources, and project timelines
- Experience leading cross-functional teams in an international environment
- Strong knowledge of project management tools and methodologies
- Experience in project administration (budgeting, resource planning, reporting)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage complexity and drive results
- PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent project management certification
Nice to Have
- Experience with tools such as ServiceNow (SNOW) or collaboration platforms
- Background in complex IT environments (e.g., C4ISR or similar domains)
- Experience in international and multicultural environments
