At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are looking for a PMO / Delivery Manager to support strategic Information Systems (IS) transformation initiatives. In this role, you will operate at the heart of governance, delivery, and coordination, ensuring the successful execution of high-impact programs.
Your Responsibilities
- Translate strategic priorities into concrete IS initiatives and projects, ensuring clear scope and stakeholder alignment
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of critical IT initiatives (scope, planning, risks, dependencies, capacity)
- Ensure synchronization between project activities and operational (run) environments
- Monitor progress, identify risks or deviations, and drive corrective actions
- Support project evaluation by assessing value, impact, dependencies, and delivery feasibility
- Coordinate resource planning (internal & external) with domain leaders
- Assist Project Managers in resolving blocking issues and escalating when needed

Contribute to key management processes such as:
- Vendor & sourcing management
- Scope & stakeholder management
- Risk, planning, and budget management
- Deliver high-quality reporting to senior management and governance bodies (SteerCo, Boards, Executive level)
- Drive alignment of project methodologies, tools, and standards across the IS department
- Capitalize on lessons learned and contribute to process improvements
- Foster cross-functional collaboration between IT teams, business stakeholders, and external partners
- Act as a reference point for PMO and delivery excellence on strategic initiatives
Your Profile
- Proven experience as a Senior PMO / Delivery Manager in complex IT environments

Strong expertise in:
- IT/Business alignment
- Strategic project and program delivery
- Governance and PMO best practices
- Change management
- Coaching and mentoring project managers
- Extensive experience in managing cross-functional and strategic IT initiatives
- Strong understanding of resource management, risk management, and budgeting
- Experience in stakeholder management at executive level
- Fluent in French or Dutch (native/bilingual level)
- Good command of the second national language (FR/NL)
- Professional proficiency in English
