AISB-826 IT Project Manager

At ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS, we are looking for a Project Manager to support a cutting-edge platform engineering team focused on delivering high-quality cloud-based applications. This is a great opportunity to combine your project management expertise with a strong technical environment centered around modern DevEx practices. As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of initiatives within a platform engineering squad. You will work closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders to coordinate activities, manage risks, and ensure that objectives are delivered on time, within scope, and at the expected level of quality. While this is not a hands-on technical role, your understanding of cloud environments and infrastructure (notably Kubernetes) will allow you to anticipate challenges and effectively support the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Align objectives with stakeholders, product owner, and management
• Define and maintain planning, capacity, and release calendars
• Ensure smooth communication between technical teams and stakeholders
• Oversee feature delivery (scope, quality, deadlines)
• Ensure all requirements and objectives are met
• Identify, assess, and manage risks proactively
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation throughout the lifecycle
• Provide clear and regular progress updates
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies (Sprint Reviews, Refinements, Delivery Boards, etc.)
• Ensure continuous alignment with all stakeholders

Your Profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
• Strong experience with project management methodologies, tools, and processes
• Good understanding of cloud-based applications and underlying infrastructure
• Solid knowledge of Agile principles and Scrum framework
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
• Organized, structured, and solution-oriented mindset
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent experience)
• Fluent in English
• Good knowledge of French and/or Dutch
• Experience in large organizations or banking environments
• Agile/Scrum certifications
