We are looking for a Senior Test Manager to take a central role in a large-scale transformation program within a major financial services environment. This position sits at the heart of a strategic initiative focused on modernizing operations through automation, advanced workflow solutions, and AI-driven platforms.
Your Role
As a Central Test Coordinator, you will be responsible for orchestrating end-to-end testing activities across a complex, multi-stream program. You will ensure alignment of testing strategies, maintain high-quality governance standards, and oversee integration validation across multiple systems and platforms.
Working within a central Delivery Office, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including release management, engineering tribes, and external partners, to ensure seamless execution of testing processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the test strategy and governance framework
- Lead test planning and coordination across multiple initiatives
- Oversee integration and end-to-end testing, ensuring system consistency
- Manage defects and quality assurance processes, ensuring timely resolution
- Monitor test environments and readiness, particularly for API and middleware integrations
- Provide clear reporting and communication to stakeholders, including dashboards and status updates
- Facilitate go/no-go decisions, identifying and escalating risks that may impact delivery timelines
Your Profile
- Minimum 10 years of experience in testing, including leadership roles
- Strong expertise in:
- System Integration Testing
- API and middleware architectures
- Complex IT ecosystems, ideally within banking or financial services
- Solid understanding of banking operations and regulatory environments
- Experience in large-scale transformation programs
- Familiarity with cloud or hybrid infrastructures
Education & Certifications
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- ISTQB certification (Agile variant preferred)
- Agile/Scrum or SAFe certification is a plus
Languages
- English: fluent (spoken and written)
- Dutch and French: working knowledge
