In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, processing, and analyzing data to support strategic and operational decision-making. You will work at the intersection of data engineering and analytics, ensuring data quality, building efficient data solutions, and delivering clear, business-oriented insights to stakeholders.
Your Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, link, and validate data from multiple sources
- Design and implement robust data solutions in complex environments
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
- Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with internal standards
- Develop data pooling and sampling techniques for business users (self-service approach)
- Translate complex analyses into clear, actionable insights for management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and data requirements
- Support decision-making by providing data-driven recommendations
- Contribute to remediation plans and negotiate solutions with stakeholders
- Work autonomously while maintaining strong alignment within the team
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Analytics / Data Engineering
- Strong expertise in SQL and solid knowledge of SAS
- Advanced skills in Excel and VBA
- Proven experience in data pooling, sampling, and self-service data solutions
- Experience working with complex data environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Background in banking or financial services
- Knowledge of data governance and GDPR compliance
