At ABAKUS IT SOLUTIONS, we are currently looking for a Business Analyst / KYC Remediation Support Consultant to support a large-scale documentation recovery and process optimization initiative within a highly regulated banking environment. In this mission, you will contribute to a critical remediation effort following a data loss impacting KYC client files. Your role will be key in restoring documentation completeness, ensuring regulatory compliance, and helping structure the operational recovery. This position combines hands-on KYC analysis (≈70%) with light PMO and continuous improvement activities (≈30%), offering a strong mix of operational execution and process structuring.
Key Responsibilities
- Re-perform KYC checks on impacted client files
- Support the reconstruction and completion of missing documentation
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness of KYC records
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (Compliance, Operations, Business)
- Help secure regulatory adherence and internal control requirements
- Track remediation volumes, backlog, and progress reporting
- Support governance and follow-up of remediation activities
- Identify process inefficiencies and propose practical improvements
- Assist in structuring priorities and workload allocation
- Contribute to KPI monitoring and operational risk identification
- Support the definition of governance frameworks (escalation paths, ownership, controls)
- Participate in change management initiatives linked to regulatory or process evolution
Your Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
- At least 1 year of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Previous exposure to KYC or financial services environments is a strong plus
- Strong command of MS Office tools and ability to work with multiple systems
- Interest in banking, compliance, and financial products
- Strong communication skills with a diplomatic and customer-oriented mindset
- Highly accurate, structured, and quality-driven
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment
- Flexible, stress-resistant, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable challenging processes constructively
