We are looking for a Senior L3 Network Engineer to join a dynamic IT infrastructure team operating in an Agile environment. This role focuses on managing and optimizing remote access systems and network assets across a large enterprise landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support the Remote Access (RA) system, including backend operations of Cisco AnyConnect.
- Maintain and upgrade ASA Firepower servers and ensure architectural consistency.
- Collaborate with local and international teams to deliver secure and reliable network services.
- Troubleshoot complex network incidents and manage resolution workflows via ServiceNow.
- Monitor and manage network assets using advanced monitoring tools.
- Lead change management discussions and document infrastructure updates.
- Administer Fortinet firewalls and switches, including FortiCloud and local management stations.
- Maintain Fortinet VPN and EMS solutions for external agents.
- Participate in a rotating 24/7 on-call schedule (1 week every 6 weeks).
- Ensure compliance with security regulations and update systems to address vulnerabilities.
- Translate business needs into effective network solutions and maintain as-built documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT Network Administration or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise network environments.
- Proven expertise in:
- Cisco AnyConnect, RSA
- Cisco switching & routing
- Fortinet firewalls and Fortinet Manager
- Strong incident management and migration/upgrade project experience.
- Fluent in English (documentation), with good to fluent proficiency in Dutch and French.
- Occasional travel required for team synchronization.
- Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.
