AISB-833 Enterprise / Solution Architect – Functions Domain

Context & Objectives

Within the TCF Functions domain (Finance, HR, Facilities, Procurement, Communication, etc.), we are seeking an Architect to define and evolve the IT architecture landscape.

The role focuses on delivering architecture for Communication & Support Functions (CSF), including Marketing Communication, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and ALM-T Finance. The Architect will ensure alignment between business needs, IT solutions, and enterprise strategy, while contributing to modernization and simplification initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Architecture Design & Strategy

• Define and design end-to-end architecture solutions across the Functions domain
• Contribute to and advise on projects, studies, and application evolution, covering both internal developments and packaged solutions
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture strategy and standards
• Define, document, and maintain reference architecture with a focus on simplification

Governance & Implementation

• Support and validate the implementation of architectural rules and decisions before and after production deployment
• Actively participate in architecture governance bodies and committees
• Ensure compliance with architecture principles, standards, and best practices

Communication & Stakeholder Alignment

• Communicate current and target architecture visions to stakeholders
• Align with business, IT, and project teams across domains
• Act as a key advisor and interface between technical teams and functional stakeholders

Continuous Improvement & Innovation

• Monitor technology trends and integrate relevant innovations into the enterprise architecture
• Contribute to continuous improvement of architecture practices and standards

Key Deliverables

• Project, application, and reference architectures
• IT architecture strategies and urbanization plans
• Application portfolio strategies
• Architecture diagrams (application maps, system landscapes, interfaces)
• Architectural studies and principles documentation

Scope

• Architecture ownership at domain, project, or enterprise level, depending on the assignment

Profile & Experience

• Minimum 5 years of experience in architecture (enterprise, solution, or application)
• Strong experience in functional and technical architecture design
• Proven ability to work in complex enterprise environments

Technical Skills

Mandatory

• Strong knowledge of application, functional, and technical architecture
• Experience with architecture modeling and design
• Understanding of software development, infrastructure, networking, middleware, and cloud environments
• Experience in analysis and definition of application architectures
• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum methodologies
• Understanding of architecture governance and urbanization principles

Preferred

• Experience with enterprise modeling languages (e.g. Archimate)
• Experience in Support Functions domains (Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance ALM)
