AISB-859 Risk Assessment Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in cybersecurity risk assessments for critical entities, processes, systems, and assets;
• Collect and consolidate the information required for risk analysis, including assets, flows, threats, dependencies, and existing controls;
• Apply the risk assessment methodologies defined by the cybersecurity governance framework;
• Assess impacts, likelihoods, and residual risks;
• Contribute to the maintenance and update of the cybersecurity risk register;
• Document findings, assumptions, and assessment results in a clear and structured manner;
• Identify gaps regarding NIS2 requirements and internal security standards;
• Prepare decision-support deliverables such as risk matrices, analysis summaries, and justification elements;
• Contribute to the preparation of evidence required for audits, compliance reviews, and NIS2 controls;
• Collaborate with technical and project teams to ensure a proper understanding of the operational context of the assessed risks.

Your Profile

• You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, risk management, or a related field;
• You have initial experience or a strong interest in cybersecurity, compliance, or risk management;
• You have a good understanding of IT environments including systems, networks, applications, and services;
• You are comfortable analyzing, structuring, and documenting complex information;
• You are rigorous, organized, and detail-oriented;
• You demonstrate analytical thinking and the ability to work within structured frameworks;
• You communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
• Knowledge of regulatory environments and cybersecurity standards is considered an asset;
• Experience with risk assessment methodologies such as CYFUN is appreciated.
